"I finally had an adult conversation with my broken heart and these 12 songs are the transcripts. I lost love, found love, and believe it or not lost it again. In the process of losing things I found me. I came home. It's amazing to feel again, good and bad, there's no place I'd rather be than Right Here Right Now".
Inspiring words from Kitchener-Waterloo's Jamie Warren, who is about to release his 5th CD on March 25th, titled "Right Here Right Now". This multiple Juno nominated, and CCMA award winner has the distinction of being Canada's most acknowledged independent country artist.
Following the release of this CD and his performance on Canada AM, Jamie starts a 20 date canadian tour, starting in Red Deer and ending in Halifax. This tour also features Duane Steele and Willie Mack. Check out www.jamiewarren.com for more details.
Jamie just released the single "She Just Loves To Dance" to radio, (early indications is that it's a hit) which should peak about the time the CD hits stores. He will also support the release of his CD with 3 Factor funded You-Tube videos and be on the cover of Country Music News for April.
This is the best CD Jamie has written and recorded; his first since his greatest hits in 2004. He's iconic, yet still very relevant.

Duane Steele is among Canada’s top country recording artists and songwriters with a professional career dating back to 1984.
Born and raised in the small Alberta Peace Country town of Hines Creek, music was a big part of Duane’s life growing up. He fondly remembers parties at his parents home with everyone sitting around singing and playing various instruments. As teenagers Duane and his cousins started a band spending summers and weekends playing for weddings and community dances.
In 1984 Duane’s professional career began, fronting the band Rock ‘N’ Horse. Their album, “Highways”, was released in 1991. Despite top 20 singles, non stop touring, and a Juno nomination for Country Band of the Year Rock ‘N’ Horse disbanded in 1993. Duane took this opportunity to pursue his goals as a recording artist and songwriter, landing a publishing contract with Warner Chapel in Nashville. This full time job as a staff songwriter allowed him the privilege of working with and learning from some of the most talented writers from the United States and Canada.
In 1995 a showcase at Canadian Country Music Week in Calgary resulted in his signing a recording contract with Mercury Canada. Duane’s solo debut album “PO Box 423” was released in February 1996 and saw his first three singles go Top 5 on the Canadian Country Charts, including the #1 Hit “Anita Got Married”. His sophomore release “This Is The Life” was released a year and a half later and furthered his presence on the Canadian music charts with all six singles released achieving Top 30 chart position (two becoming Top 10 hits). In support of both albums Duane released seven music videos on CMT (three of which went to #1).
Touring and promoting became a way of life for Duane once again. He was on the road traveling with his CCMA award winning band opening for some of the hottest acts in country music including Shania Twain, Terri Clark, Trisha Yearwood, Sammy Kershaw, and Prairie Oyster. In 1997 Duane was the winner of the CCMA for Vocal Collaboration of the Year with Lisa Brokop for the single “Two Names On An Overpass”.
In the spring of 1999 Duane returned to Canada to focus on his recording career. His third solo album “I’ll Be Alright” was released in August 2000 with seven singles released to radio and three videos released to
CMT. In 2001 Duane was rewarded for his first independently released album by winning the Independent Male Vocalist of the Year Award by the CCMA.
2004 saw the release of “Set List”. A best of album including 17 radio singles from his three previous solo albums and three new songs that were released to radio. A video for the song “Better Man” was filmed in Calgary for CMT.
July 2006 is the release date of Duane’s newest project “Ghost Town” which he co- produced with recording artist, songwriter, and producer Steve Fox. Duane is extremely proud of this 100% Canadian album! This is Duane’s first time assisting with the production side of the recording process. He is also excited to have national distribution through Icon Records with Universal Canada.
Duane’s pure voice and natural stage presence makes his live shows a must see. Fans relate to his lyrics and song writing style. When he is not touring or working on his own projects he is often writing with other artists. Production has been a natural progression and he looks forward to working in this area while continuing his own solo career.

Adventure is your soul when you're a genuine Texas-bred music man.
That's why when you pluck a singer like Willie Mack out of the lone star state and throw him in Nashville, he's still gotta ramble.
It's that restless spirit that Mack channels so perfectly on his second album, Headlights And Tailpipes. His first release for Open Road Recordings is all lonely highways, fast cars, open skies and racing back to get to the ones you love.
"It seems like I'm just happiest when I'm moving," says Mack. "Traveling, being in a hurry to get somewhere, off to see something new. That's just the way I am. I really got into writing songs like, you say goodbye to someone and you're leavin', or you're on your way to somebody."
That's exactly what the album's title track is about. "Back when I was engaged to my wife, she was still in Texas and I was writing songs in Nashville and going to school," Mack says. "And it was a 12 hour drive. And sometimes I would skip class on Fridays, just hop in the car and drive all night just to get to her. It's that energy you have when you're young and in love."
That same energy went into the new album. A dynamic record that recalls Dwight Yoakam and Steve Earle, Mack literally traveled across North America to record Headlights And Tailpipes. He did time in Toronto, Ontario with Jason McCoy of The Road Hammers as producer. From there were Nashville sessions at The Groove Room. Then it was back to Texas to stomp and shuffle some songs out with his live touring bandmates.
Buzzing first single "Gotta Get Me A Cadillac" was almost the result more of misadventure than adventure, though.
"McCoy and I were in Nashville," says Mack. "We went to lunch and McCoy's driving his big white pickup truck and I'm along with him and this green Cadillac pulls right in front of us on 17th Avenue. And he slams on the breaks and says, 'Dang, I almost had me a Cadillac.' And he looked at me and I looked at him and by the time we got two more blocks to the office we had the song half-finished."
Considering Mack has written for the likes of Sara Evans, George Canyon, Oak Ridge Boys, Collin Raye, Mark Willis, Sons Of The Desert and Adam Gregory, it's no surprise he can effortlessly turn such moments into song. The sweet number "Golden Years" came from a wild family meal at the Cracker Barrel.
"My wife and I, we've got two kids, a seven year old son and a four year old daughter," says Mack. "So, we're here at the Cracker Barrel and my daughter's got food in her hair and on her face and my son is being ornery. As a parent you're just like, 'Can we have the check please?' Then slip out with our tails between our legs feeling awful. And right before we leave, this older gentleman comes over and he goes, 'I just want to tell you, these kids you have...' And we're thinkin' 'Oh, no, what's he gonna say?' And he says '... these kids you have, they're beautiful children. I just want to tell you it's these years when they're growin', these are the golden years.' Being a songwriter, of course I was moved by this statement.
"But I was also thinkin' 'That sounds like a great song!' The moment he left I was, like, 'I gotta have a pen.'"
It's these adventures great and small that make Headlights And Tailpipes. And it's also why a Texan in Nashville travels up to Canada to record part of his record. Mack's travels to the great white north didn't happen by accident either.
"I started to get a few Canadian artists recording my cuts," says Mack. "So, I was wondering, 'How were they finding out about me up there?' Then I started looking into it and started meeting a lot of these artists and making friends with 'em and writing songs with 'em.
"It's so much more alive and interesting in Canada than what we're doing in Nashville," he continues. "Up there, everyone's doing their own thing — like Corb Lund, The Road Hammers or Johnny Reid — they all have their own voice. I really want to be involved in something like that. So I'm experimenting to see how the Canadian industry will receive me."
It'll be with open arms, no doubt. Mack may have developed his adventurous nature in the heart of Texas, but travelling the open roads and great distances are universal. It's that energy that defines Headlights And Tailpipes.
"To me there's just an exciting energy," says Mack of his album. "It's just a less polished, exciting, edgy fun. I didn't want it to sound very slick. I wanted it to sound fun and moving, all the things I grew up loving. And I think it accomplished that."

Shane Chisholm's country crooning can be dated back to a time when his mother put him on stage with his two siblings singing Country Classics in three part harmony where Shane commanded the Bass lines with his deep and rich two year old voice.
"I just always had a low voice." says Shane.
Growing up in a rural area outside of Sault.Ste.Marie, Ontario, Shane found ways of expressing his creativity by singing, playing and writing about future heartbreaks. Shane has become a road warrior, touring Canada with his own band as well as Bassist and backup singer for many of Canada’s biggest Country Stars, having preformed with Aaron Lines, Gil Grand, Aaron Pritchett, Steve Fox, Julian Austin, Duane Steele, Beverly Mahood, Sean Hogan, Jake Mathews and has also been nominated for CCMA Bass player of the year in 2003, 2004, and 2007.
Now residing in Claresholm, Alberta, Shane is currently writing and recording songs for his first roots/country solo record. His writing has been described as “Light to Dark with an element danger”. With a passion for telling stories and a desire to entertain Shane is taking everything he's learned from the Industry and putting 100% of it in to his solo career.
